This is a defective LCD screen, white patches or/and dead pixels are on the display.
We refurbish these LCD screens by replacing all with new polarized sheet and light tube (CCFL Lamp), it would not have the “keyboard impression mark”, scratch and backlight shadows
It almost looks new except it may have less than five dead pixels and / or minor “white spot”. This would not affect the general usage and viewing of the screen.
The screen has the correct level of contrast and brightness consistent.
