To be honest, without a picture of the other side of the adapter, I wasn't sure if it was what I needed. When the adapter arrived I was pleasently suprised! It does appear to be genuine, and it works correctly with the CTS-CTRL-DV8 as a source of power and network connectivity. On the non-pictured side, there is a RJ45 connector and an AMP connector that is a 50 series SDL 8 pin connection.
